Statement
Through my work I am interested in investigating three main themes: The political and social reality in which we live; the construction of imaginary scenarios; and evolution. I believe that the political and social events taking place in the world are being increasingly extrapolated. It seems that people are being more controlled because it seems that without any major obstacles, every day rulers and presidents approve or disapprove laws that generate a climate of violence, impunity and unimaginable indignation; not in one region, but in the whole world.
A fundamental part of my creative process consists of listening and watching the news; analyzing, processing and digesting the information; identifying and appropriating the visual elements that each of these events evoke, and then interpreting them through iconographies and logos that are translated and repeated like a mantra becoming mandalas or lkaleidoscope like images. This seems to have a similarity to Kybalion that summarizes the teachings of hermeticism. Of its seven principles there are two that make total reference to the interpretation of my work: .
